Leobost House

Leobost is a large detached family house in private secluded grounds. The house is deliberately and ideally situated for stunning South-facing views from all public rooms across Loch Bracadale with views to the Small Isles (Rum and Canna) on the horizon, with the Bracadale Islands (Harlosh, Tarner, Wiay) in the foreground. The Cuillin Ridge completes the view to the South East, some 30 miles away. We are a short walk from a quiet sandy beach (Bharkasaig - black volcanic sand!) and numerous longer hikes.

The house has recently been completely refurbished to a very high standard with a large and well appointed kitchen/diner, connected to a similarly-sized living room with television and wood burning stove. Fast (100Mbps) internet is provided throughout the house. The downstairs hall is based on a fully sprung dancefloor (from when our youngest son was training to become a professional ballet dancer). The property has wooden floors throughout and a collection of family antiques which bring the property to life. We rely mostly on returning guests each year, who enjoy the location'e privacy, wildlife, and access to Skye's many attractions.
